A Fun Day

What better excuse could you have
to sit and read for the day?

One of the things that I thank my
Mom for is the love of books and
reading! ( I can blame her for all
the books that I have. :) ) I have
a hard time wrapping my head
around the fact that some really
don't like to read! And I know that
there are some who even as adults
struggle with reading--to me that is
sad.
It's good that there are programs
around the country where people can
get help.

What do you like to read?

I read most anything--books,
magazines (love them), news-
papers, kid's books (can't get
enough of them) the list goes
on.

What type of genre do you read?

I like Contemporary Romance
mostly. I'll move off the road to
other types sometimes.

Do you have a favorite author (s)?

For me-too many to list.

Happy reading!!

  2. Books, magazines, newspapers. I read all the time. I'm a big fan of mysteries and have found two new authors this week. I think I'll do a post about them soon. I know I've got some mystery fans in Buttercupland.

    1. I was just in Buttercup land.

I enjoy the mysteries with a comic
      factor.

  3. I love reading too and keep buying more books. Today I am reading Deeply Odd by Dean Koontz and The Mountaintop School For Dogs by Ellen Cooney. Favorite author might be Jane Austen.

  4. This summer, I have carved out more time to read, that I have for years. It's been wonderful!
I've been reading the B.B. Heywood mystery series, beginning with "Town in a Blueberry Jam".
What a great series!! Fun to read, easy and clean reads too.

      check it out!
It's always nice when you can find time
      to spend with a book.

  6. I am pretty eclectic. The only genre I am not too fond of is
Sci Fi. Reading "Mrs Lincoln's Dressmaker" right now.
