Hello, I am back!
I hope everyone's Summer was
wonderful and your holiday
weekend full of fun.
We had a super Summer and a
great holiday weekend!
Now it is time to get back to
regular programming.

Today's Tip is:

Five Uses For Tennis Balls

1. Use them to remove scuff
marks--Remove black lines on
wood floors by rubbing them
with  a clean ball.

2. Protecting a padlock--To
keep the lock on your shed
from rusting, cut a slit in the
top of an old ball with an
Xacto knife. Slit should be at
least 1/2" longer than the the
width of the lock. Slide the
lock inside to protect it from
the weather.

3. Great for hammering softly--
If you are trying to assemble
something delicate and don't
have a rubber mallet, a tennis
ball will soften the blow. Cut
an X into the ball, then push
the flat side of the hammer
into it and pound away!

4. Jar won't open?--Cut along
the white line of a ball until it
is split open, place one half on
top of the jar with the rubber
side down. This will provide
the friction you need to get a
good grip on the lid.

5. Bike kickstand need help?--
For better balance, poke a hole
or cut a small slit into your ball,
then slip onto the bottom of your kickstand.
