Make Someone's Day!
Tomorrow--October 26th
is Make a Difference Day.
This is a day where groups
of people (small and large)
get together to help others.
What are your plans for
tomorrow?
Take some time to help
someone else.
While the large groups
tackle the big projects,
here are some things
you can do by yourself
or with your family.
Rake leaves
Sweep porches or
driveways
Run errands for a
neighbor
Smile at a stanger
Give a hug
Spend time with a
friend
Call someone you
haven't heard from
for awhile
Here is a story I just
think is so neat! (From
Women's Day 2013)
During a visit to the
San Francisco Wharf
during a road trip and
around the U. S., my
husband and I were
treated to a great act
of kindness. When the
parking meter wouldn't
take our credit card, a
young man eating lunch
with friends came over
to see if he could help.
After my husband used
the only quarter he had--
which gave us exactly
4 minutes on the meter--
the man told his friends
to empty their pockets
of change. They came up
with 15 quarters, which
they immediately put in
the meter. When my
husband tried to repay
them, they refused to
take any money and
insisted we go have
a wonderful afternoon.

Now isn't that the way
things should be?

do tomorrow!

It's Coming!!!!!!
Somehow I missed posting
yesterday. First day back
to school after being sick,
I'm sure that was the reason.
Ha! Ha!
Well here we are, just under
10 days until the BIG Halloween
fun!
Did you know--
8 billion dollars is how much is
spent on Halloween. Oh my!
A typical family spends $80 on decorations, costumes and treats.
This seems a little low to me. One
can spend 80 bucks on candy alone
or on costumes etc.
60% of Americans decorate their
homes with fake cobwebs, spooky skeletons, lights etc.
Are you ready??
